3 Planners Do All Route Work In-House
3 planners cover our routes: Fiona MacLeod on long-distance walking, Moira Donnelly on Ireland and the islands, and Callum Reid on self-drive and rail. No enquiry passes to a call centre. You speak to the person who drew your stages.
120 trips per month is our spring capacity, which keeps each planner at 8 to 12 active groups. You get reply times in days, not weeks. We close dates when the diary fills rather than stacking names.

5 steps make up our process: a walk-through call, a written route draft, booking, a kit list and on-trail support. The call runs 20 to 30 minutes and covers fitness, dates and dinner needs. The draft follows within 2 business days with named overnights and daily miles.

2 business days is our standard draft turnaround from October to May, 3 days in June peak. You approve every overnight before we take deposits. We list each house policy in plain numbers.
14 Route Guides Anchor Every Itinerary
14 route guides on this site carry the stage math behind our trips, from the West Highland Way to the North Coast 500. Each guide shows miles, ascent and 2026 costs. You can start from any guide and ask us to adapt it.
70 percent of our walkers arrive with a guide in mind and change 1 to 2 stages after the call. Shorter days, a rest night, a distillery stop. We redraft once at no charge within 7 days of the first draft.
15 Years of Supplier Rooms Back Your Booking
15 years of bookings means 200 plus guesthouses, inns and hotels know our name and our walkers. Rooms run 95 to 150 GBP per night in 2026 depending on village and season. Luggage moves run 8 to 14 GBP per bag per stage.
100 percent of your money for rooms and transfers sits in written confirmations you can check. You get the house names, the dates and the cancellation terms. We answer on-trail calls from 08:00 to 18:00 every walking day.
